Würk, C15 pair up for strategic partnership

Poseidon Investment Management is an investor in the two companies.

Cannabis employee tech company Würk and tech firm C15 announced a strategic partnership through its shared investment firm Poseidon Investment Management.

Würk’s products address employee payroll, human resources, timekeeping, scheduling, and tax compliance. It also tackles compliance issues and provides guidance on 280E tax law. C15 has a customized eQMS (‘electronic Quality Management System’) platform for the cannabis sector that seeks to address quality while controlling costs.

“Collaboration is essential to achieving and sustaining long-term solutions in our rapidly evolving industry,” said Poseidon Co-founder and Managing Director Morgan Paxhia. “C15 Solutions and Würk’s partnership reflects our commitment to strengthening the ancillary cannabis network by building connections that fuel industry growth and enhance operational excellence. We look forward to being a teammate to emerging cannabis companies pushing boundaries, fostering innovating, and looking to grow.”

The announcement noted that the two companies will continue to work independently but collaborate to improve efficiency for their clients.

Würk announced in December that it was expanding its suite of HCM solutions to include its latest Würkforce Analytics tool designed to help companies identify trends and develop data-driven, cost-effective strategies that maximize productivity and improve efficiency. At the time, Deborah Saneman, CEO of Würk said, “Our innovative tools streamline the decision-making process. Whether it’s identifying drivers of overtime costs to ensuring pay equity and analyzing hiring trends, our latest solution empowers clients with the insights they need to run their businesses effectively and equitably.”
