A huge marijuana product recall was issued Tuesday by the Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation for more than 2,600 products from Twenty Twenty that were found to have not gone through all required safety testing.
The brand’s parent company, NGWMO LLC, is cooperating with authorities in the recall, according to a press release. The goods being recalled include Twenty Twenty pre-rolls and flower, according to a list of the products shared by the DCR.
“The recalled marijuana products were not compliantly tested prior to being sold to patients and consumers. The recalled marijuana products were tested at the unprocessed bud/flower stage, rather than being tested at the final marijuana product stage,” the DCR said in its release.
The agency said that no adverse health impacts had yet been reported by consumers, but that all Twenty Twenty products in the recall should not be used.
The full list of all 2,649 recalled products can be viewed at the DCR’s website.
The recall is only the second in the history of the Missouri cannabis market, according to the DCR. The first was a year ago, for goods made by Delta Extraction. That recall had a lengthy fallout for several Missouri marijuana companies, as there was a wave of finger-pointing and litigation in the wake of the recall.
