iAnthus CEO Richie Proud sees potential in New York, Florida

iAnthus has a New York adult-use license, but hasn't paid the fee.

Green Market Report Executive Editor Debra Borchardt caught up with iAnthus CEO Richie Proud at the Benzinga New Jersey conference earlier this week. Proud says he is continuing to keep building the company’s revenue as it works to pay down a mountain of debt. He concedes the company is facing a lot of lawsuits, but he remains focused on running the company. He does not anticipate any more divestitures and despite receiving an adult-use license in New York, the company hasn’t paid the fee yet.

Trash company majority owned by con-artist and former hot dog salesman Jason Adler’s Gotham Green (the fund that spectacularly tanked MedMen). Led by a real brain trust of a board comprised of a few of the Wendy’s nitwits who brought the world the new and innovative concept of cheeseburger surge pricing.
